You’ve reached an independently operated outpost on the old web. You will find no feeds here, no Flash, and no algorithms. Nope, just static pages as far as the eye can see.

You see, I miss the good old days of GeoCities, RealPlayer, and DCC port-fucking strangers into oblivion. So I decided to build a website where I could share all the things that make me happy with you, the intrepid internet traveler who somehow stumbled across this shrine to the archaic.

So have a look around. Click a few links. Linger a while. There’s no rush here. That was never the point.

Don’t know where to start? Lose a few hours in The Floppy Files with The Pools Saga or Questionable Authority; rummage through The Digital Attic until something bites you; or visit Nobody Asked for reviews of whatever I felt like having an opinion about. Or head over to Sound Check for some music, acoustic gigs, and other noise.

What’s New

• NEW! October 8, 2026
Well, I finally gave my music its own little corner of this stupid website. Sound Check is live! Acoustic shows, recordings, booking info, and whatever other noise I decide to throw in there. I'm getting back out and booking shows for 2027, so I'll add dates as they come in. Yes, I do occasionally leave the house.

Because I clearly needed another stupid fucking project, Questionable Authority is live! I replayed Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel, turned Sonny Bonds into the most confidently questionable cop in California, and wrote the whole mess down. The entire first game is up in two episodes. Start with Episode 1. Protect and serve, I guess.

Episode 18: Dragonslayer is live, which means I actually finished Pool of Radiance. Eighteen episodes, a stupid amount of hand-drawn maps, twenty-two total party wipes, and one actual fucking dragon later, the first game of The Pools Saga is done.

Episode 17: There Was No Spoon of The Pools Saga is live! This was supposed to be a simple diplomatic mission. Instead, the party accidentally liberated a pirate fort, Merrick died from a Lightning Bolt, Mara nearly joined him, and I ended up paying another 5,500 gold once again to bring the little asshole back. Go read it. There was no spoon.

Episode 15: Tyranthraxus, Probably and Episode 16: One Hit Point of The Pools Saga are live! I spent roughly three hours hand-mapping Valjevo Castle's goddamn hedge maze, watched Merrick kill somebody very important with a rock, then went back to the kobold caves and somehow survived three straight waves of trolls, boars, kobolds, and general bullshit. There was also an efreet, a princess Mara immediately hated, and a dragon who was several episodes late with some extremely useful information. Go read them. I suffered for this.

Happy afternoon, everyone! I played some more Pool of Radiance and had a slightly fun, slightly aggravating time. Of course, that means there’s now a brand-new Episode 14: Down Here, It's Our Time for you all to skim through and pretend you read. Bon appétit!
• September 19, 2026
Good morning, everyone! Not only did I have a most excellent tattoo appointment yesterday at Dapper Tattoo, but I also managed to bang out Episode 13: An Actual Fucking Dragon of the Pools Saga. Spoiler: we encountered a dragon, and somehow that wasn’t even the stupidest thing we did. Go read it, or Jesus hates you!

Oh, and speaking of Dapper Tattoo: I launched a brand-new section of the site called Nobody Asked—because nobody asked for my opinion, but I’m gonna give it to you anyway. First up is my review of Dapper Tattoo, the cleanest place I’ve ever voluntarily paid someone to stab me for seven hours.

Hello, sexy people! A few updates for you: I removed the other two webrings because neither owner ever got back to me about adding the site. Only THULNET remains. THULNET is life.

I also cleaned up a few code errors behind the scenes and published Episode 12: Stupid Goddamn Pyramid of The Pools Saga. Go read it. Stuff happens.

I did some work on the Ledger of Death too to make it a bit more readable.

In other news, I’ve bowed out of X. Too many social media platforms, and honestly, most of them are a waste of time. I don’t know how many I’ll keep. Only time will tell.

Just when you thought you’d escaped ever having to read another one of my idiotic Pools Saga episodes, Episode 11: We Selected Die comes flying in to smack you directly in the FACE-A! Six trips to one graveyard, several thousand undead, and one vampire that needed killing twice. Go read it NOW!
