One badge. Several crimes. Very little oversight.
Police Quest is Sierra's series about police work, procedure, investigations, traffic stops, paperwork and the many exciting ways one officer can completely fuck all of that up.
So naturally, I'm playing through the four classic adventure games and documenting the whole thing as it happens. No walkthroughs, no perfect-score obsession, and no pretending I know what the hell I'm doing.
This is Questionable Authority.
New to Questionable Authority? Officer Bonds is already on duty. God help us all.

Want to know the few rules I'm pretending will keep this under control? Keep reading.
Manuals, maps, paperwork and whatever else originally came with the game are fair game. Google, walkthroughs and somebody else's answers are not.
If I die, get arrested, destroy my career or otherwise hit an actual game over, fine. I'll reload. But I'm not going back because I missed points, chose badly or decided I could have handled something better.
I'm not chasing a perfect score or replaying scenes until Sonny Bonds becomes RoboCop. Whatever happens on the first successful run is what happened.
I'll try to follow whatever police procedure the game expects me to follow. I make no promises regarding good judgment, professionalism or basic human dignity.
That's it. Protect. Serve. Try not to get fired.
