Hi there, I’m Sam — a 44-year-old dude from central Pennsylvania who still thinks the 80s and 90s were the peak of human civilization (and honestly, I might be right).

When I’m not wrangling cyber threats as a full-time cybersecurity engineer, I’m usually:

• 🎸 Strumming 80s & 90s acoustic tunes around State College (yes, I’ll play Wonderwall if you yell loud enough).
• 👾 Creating worlds — writing stories or building video games where you’ll probably get eaten by some terrifying monster I dreamed up at 2AM.
• 📼 Diving into nostalgia — 80s movies, MST3K marathons, old commercials, VHS tapes, and everything pre‑WiFi (1981–1999 was the golden era).

My playlists are a chaotic mix of classical, metal, and yacht rock. One second it’s Bach, the next it’s Alestorm, then somehow Christopher Cross sneaks in with a smooth sax solo.

Outside of work and projects, my favorite role is hanging with my amazing girlfriend and son — both of whom tolerate my rants about how “movies were just better in the 80s.” Spoiler: they were.
